Our LGBTQIA+ community, friends and allies are welcome. Come with your partner, meet up with friends or make Gat Party part of a group night out. Dress up for a theme if you enjoy it, or come as you are.

The evening centres on sokkie and langarm, with disco, pop, classics and crowd favourites mixed in. If that is the music you want to dance to, check the next event and make a plan with your friends. You can explore Gat Party and Sokkie Elite music before your visit.

Find Bothasig Hall in Cape Town

Our venue is Bothasig Hall, 3 Link Road, Bothasig, Cape Town, 7441. Use the Bothasig address when planning your journey, including if you are travelling from Bellville, Milnerton or elsewhere in Cape Town. Your booking and the event page are the places to check for event-specific instructions.

Open directions to Bothasig Hall. Plan your transport for the end of the evening as well as your arrival.

Book in advance

Tickets are sold in advance only. Open your chosen event, check the details and follow its booking steps. Confirm that you have selected the right date before completing checkout, and keep your booking confirmation available for your visit.

Prices can differ between regular parties and special events, so use the current event page rather than an old poster or a previous booking. For cancellation and refund details, read our ticket terms and conditions.

What to bring to the party

Bring your own drinks, cooler box, glasses and snacks. There is no bar at the venue, and ice is available for purchase. Planning this with your group beforehand makes it easier to settle in and enjoy the evening.

Your booking confirmation for the correct event.

Your drinks, cooler box and glasses.

Snacks for the evening.

Comfortable clothing and shoes for dancing.

Choose the dance experience that suits you

When choosing a Cape Town dance night, start with the music, the location and the booking arrangements. Ask whether you want a sokkie and langarm social, a live performance, or a late-night club programme. Then check the organiser’s current event information so your expectations match the evening you book.

At Gat Party, the combination is a Bothasig venue, sokkie and langarm favourites, bring-your-own drinks and snacks, and a welcoming LGBTQIA+ community and friends. Our event pages help you check the details before deciding.

Questions before your first visit?

Use Gat Chat on this website to contact the Gat Party team about your chosen event. Check the event page first for dates, times and prices, and ask us about anything you still need to plan your visit.

Choose your next Gat Party and book online.

Looking for a sokkie or langarm night in Cape Town?
